Our deputy clerks really got in the spirit of Halloween, and even placed 1st, 2nd, & 3rd in the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Jack O’ Lantern Jamboree costume contest individual category. The annual Jack O’Lantern Jamboree raised over $900 this year for the Covington Food Bank and Samaritan center, not to mention a large donation of nonperishable food items collected throughout October. Donations are collected through the costume contest, pumpkin carving/decorating contest, and bake sale put on by the STPSO.
