The Clerk of Court is the chief elections officer for St. Tammany Parish.  The Clerk of Court chairs the Board of Election Supervisors, and is responsible for the following for all elections held in St. Tammany Parish:

  • Qualifying local candidates
  • Recruiting, training, and certifying qualified commissioners and commissioners-in-charge to manage election precincts
  • Supervising election day procedures to ensure compliance with the Secretary of State
  • Certifying election day results

Due to the forecast of severe weather, all Election Specific classes scheduled for this Thursday, April 18th have been rescheduled to next Tuesday, April 23rd at 10:00am and 7:00pm at the Slidell Municipal Auditorium.  The Elections team will be contacting all who are currently registered, but please contact the Elections team with any questions.

CERTIFIED ST. TAMMANY ELECTION WORKERS who received an assignment letter must pre-register and attend a pre-election class. REGISTER HERE
