Slidell Annex Office

The Slidell Annex Office will be closed from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm each day.

***The following information is specific to services available at the Slidell office.*** 

Personal Documents 

• * Marriage License applications are accepted from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday
  * Birth & Death records can be obtained from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday 

*Individuals born before 1983 who have not purchased a copy of their birth record within the last 10 years are encouraged to arrive prior to 4:00 pm to allow time for Louisiana Vital Records to update the record.   

 Birth Records may not be available during closures of the New Orleans Vital Records Office (504) 593-5100.  

**Birth Cards may only be purchased at the same time as a Birth Certificate 

Criminal Records 

• Please allow 7 days to process a request for copies of expungement documents when filed and/or requested in the Slidell office. If you need immediate assistance the request must be made in the Covington office.  

Civil 

• Protective Orders cannot be processed in the Slidell Office. Please go to the Justice Center in Covington for assistance with a protective order. The Clerk of Court will not process Protective Orders after 3:00 p.m. If you need immediate assistance, please contact Safe Harbor at 985-626-5740.  

• The Clerk of Court, Slidell Office does take in civil pleadings, however, New Suits should be filed by 4:00 p.m. If you need immediate assistance the suit must be filed in the Covington Office. 

Land Records 

Individuals may research and obtain copies of public records in the Slidell Office. Note: Some documents prior to 1975 are not immediately available in the Slidell office.  Certified Copies of Land Records will take additional time to process as the documents are verified with the Covington office.
