    JOB TITLE: Civil/Criminal Docket Clerk
    DEPARTMENT:    Civil/Criminal Department
    JOB LOCATION: Justice Center, Covington
    STATUS: Full-time, Non-Exempt, Hourly
    SUMMARY:

    Clerical position responsible for processing daily filings, preparing and issuing documents to be served, handling telephone calls for the division, setting court dates, issuing notifications, and various other clerical responsibilities  
    SALARY: $18,200 Annual, 35-hour work week

  • EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or general education (GED)
  • Ability to read and comprehend correspondence and training materials
  • Ability to file numerically without errors
  • Typing/indexing skill of 45 words per minute with no errors
  • Proficiency in word processing programs
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Available for work as scheduled
  • Two years of clerical experience, including some file maintenance experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team
